Level Up Webinar Series: August

Tuesday, August 22, 2023 (2:00 PM - 3:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

New generations join the workforce every few years, bringing their own qualities, traits, and values. While searching for employment, generations looked for different things; for example, Baby Boomers wanted job security, Generation X wanted a work-life balance, and Millennials wanted to be valued. However, the newest generation to join the workforce, Generation Z, is different.

Generation Z, people born between 1997 and 2012, will eventually make up a third of the workforce by the decade's end. They are the most diverse generation in history and are starting their careers during growing inflation, mounting student loan debt, and an impending recession. In addition, their entry into the workforce is changing how companies interact with employees because Gen Z has different expectations in atmosphere, culture, and support at work.

If you have an aging workforce and want to learn all things “Next Gen,” you won’t want to miss August’s Level Up Webinar with Lindsey Trent, President & Co-Founder of the Next Generation in Trucking Association. She will give practical ideas on what Gen Z looks for when job searching, what kind of company they want to work for, and how to retain them.
