About the Speakers:
Doug Sosko, CPA, is a tax principal at CLA’s Maumee office, bringing over 25 years of experience to transportation and manufacturing clients and their owners. As CLA’s transportation and logistics leader for Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania, Doug specializes in tax planning and consulting tailored to the unique needs of the industry. His technical expertise spans S-corporation, partnership, and C-corporation taxation, as well as state tax and nexus planning. Doug also advises clients on individual taxation, organizational structure, and mergers and acquisitions. In addition to his client-facing responsibilities, he serves as the office tax leader for CLA’s Toledo office. Doug holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Toledo and is an active member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Ohio Society of CPAs. Deeply involved in the community and industry, he serves on the Ohio Trucking Association Board and Finance Committee, and is a member of the Toledo Trucking Association and the Rotary Club of Perrysburg.
Craig Ritsema has over 15 years of experience in building customer relationships and driving digital change. He began his career as a Sales Team Leader at a top 3PL, where he managed a team of sales reps and his own book of business. He then transitioned to a ML/AI company, where he helped clients navigate their digital journey through various forms of ML and AI technology, with a focus on IoT Connected Product, Computer Vision, Predictive Analytics, and Generative AI. With a strong background in Logistics and Technology, Craig joined the CLA team in early 2024 to drive digital growth in Logistics, Distribution, and Manufacturing.
