About the Speaker:
Elizabeth Benissan-Messan is a Physician Assistant who works for Hometown Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine. She is their Director of Advanced Practice and Physician/APP Training. While part of her job involves the training of providers in conducting DOT physicals, she herself has performed more than 3400 DOTs. Prior to working at Hometown, she spent some time practicing in Non-invasive Cardiology. She has a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska as well as a Master’s in Clinical Anatomy and a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology.
