Ohio Trucking Safety Council - January Program

Description

Stephen McCormick, Division Administrator at the FMCSA Ohio Division Office, will be the featured speaker at the January OTSC meeting. He will be providing an overview of the FMCSA’s Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse rules effective 1/6/2020, with an opportunity for Q&A. This new database will contain information pertaining to violations of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) controlled substances (drug) and alcohol testing program for holders of CDLs.  

About the Speaker:
Stephen McCormick has been the Division Administrator for the FMCSA’s Ohio field office since 2018.  He began his safety career in Ohio as an FMCSA Investigator in 2001 and has experience working in a progressive range of field roles including HazMat & Federal Programs, as well as grant administration and State Program responsibilities.  Before returning to Ohio Steve was the Division Administrator for FMCSA in Hawaii & the Pacific Territories from 2015 through 2018.
