A Two-Part Training on Safety Technology and Driver Coaching
Join us on Wednesday, August 6, for an in-depth training on integrating technology and coaching to improve fleet safety and performance. The two-part training, led by Anne-Marie Naples, Senior Safety Consultant with Cottingham & Butler’s Safety Management Services Company (SMSC), will provide practical strategies for managing safety data, introducing new technologies, and implementing effective driver coaching. Gain insights from industry experts and learn best practices used by motor carriers to enhance accountability, reduce risk, and foster a culture of safety.
Part 1: Technology and Managing Your Data
10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Learn what drivers, legal experts, and insurers say about safety technologies and how fleets should manage data. This session summarizes key research findings and explores strategies for introducing new technology, addressing resistance, and building a successful safety program. Gain practical insights to enhance your operations and make technology work for your fleet.
Part 2: Coaching and Accountability
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Managing safety event data can be overwhelming, but understanding how to use it effectively is key to improving driver performance. This session explores best practices for safety event coaching, including analyzing risk-associated behaviors, organizing data, and applying proven coaching methods. Learn how other motor carriers in Ohio use data to mitigate risks and recognize drivers positively.
Each training session is $129 for OTA members; $199 for non-members. Attend both sessions for $199 for OTA members; $349 for non-members. Lunch will be served. Attendees can attend one or both parts of the training.
About the Trainer:Anne-Marie Naples is a Senior Safety Consultant with Cottingham & Butler’s Safety Management Services Company (SMSC). She began her transportation safety career in 1991 as Safety Director for a 40-truck fleet in Youngstown, Ohio, later advancing to Risk Manager and Corporate Director of Safety, overseeing DOT and OSHA compliance for more than 800 employees across five states. Since joining SMSC in 2022, she has been committed to helping motor carriers enhance safety and reduce risk.

- You will receive a 75% refund if you cancel more than 3 days before the training.
- You will receive no refund if you cancel less than 3 days before the training.
- No shows are responsible for 100% of the registration fees.
