A Two-Part Training to Help You Stay Compliant

The OTA is hosting a two-part compliance training on Managing Roadside Inspections and Advanced DOT Audit Preparation on Wednesday, July 26. Led by Jeff Davis, Principal of Fleet Safety Services, LLC, the workshop will offer practical applications and solutions to help you plan and prepare for inspections and audits. Attendees can attend one or both sessions of the training.

Part one on “Managing Roadside Inspections” will run from 9 am – 12 pm. During this session, Davis will cover what to do after an inspection, how it can impact your CSA score, and how to implement corrective action. He will also discuss how to manage ELDs properly.

Part two on “Advanced DOT Audit Preparation” will run from 1 pm – 4 pm. This hands-on workshop will detail how to maintain your documentation correctly and provide a daily checklist to help you stay compliant. Davis will also show you how to manage your CSA BASIC score to ensure your drivers are operating safely and complying with all regulations on and off the road.

Each training session is $129 for OTA members; $199 for non-members. Attend both sessions for $199 for OTA members; $349 for non-members. Lunch will be served. Attendees can attend one or both parts of the compliance training.

About the Trainer:
Jeff Davis, CDS is the principal of Fleet Safety Services, LLC, a motor carrier safety management company specializing in regulation compliance, CSA management, and FMCSA safety rating negotiation. Jeff has nearly 30 years of motor carrier safety and compliance experience and is a certified director of safety. Jeff Davis is a recipient of the nationally recognized Truckload Carriers Association Safety Professional of the Year award and a past recipient of the Safety Professional of the Year Award for the State of Ohio.

Refund Policy:

  • You will receive a 100% refund if you cancel more than 10 days before the training.
  • You will receive a 75% refund if you cancel more than 3 days before the training.
  • You will receive no refund if you cancel less than 3 days before the training.
  • No shows are responsible for 100% of the registration fees.
