The OTA invites you to join us for a comprehensive Roadside Inspection & Out of Service Criteria Review on Wednesday, June 26, at our headquarters in Westerville. Led by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO), this full-day training session delves into the application and enforcement of out-of-service criteria.
Our expert instructors will cover the intricacies of the inspection process, detailing what inspectors look for and how violations are enforced. Attendees will benefit from a deeper understanding of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, as well as receive valuable resources, including a copy of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Handbook and the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) Out-of-Service Criteria Handbook. These materials, with a combined value of $100, will be yours to keep.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided. The price to attend this training is $249 for OTA members and $449 for non-members.

About the Trainer:
Joe Frilling works for the PUCO as a Hazardous Materials Investigation Specialist, focusing on compliance review, safety audits, and roadside inspections. Prior to joining the PUCO, he was a full-time roadside CMV inspector with the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
